Those Dancing Days
- Hitten

When I heard Hitten by Those Dancing Days, there was something about the melancholy in that track that matched exactly where I was—creatively, emotionally, everything. It felt naive and honest, and I wanted the video to reflect that.

We shot it in an afternoon at our old office Palatset by Odenplan —where we did so many small projects back then. I directed, shot, and edited it myself to learn the craft, trying to keep everything in-camera. Johan produced, Malin styled.

It was all DIY—down to the homemade DV camera rig with a spinning plastic disk to fake film grain. Those Dancing Days were a small band with a huge soul—Linnea’s voice, Lisa, Rebecca and Cissi—just being incredible musicians and people. I’ve made a lot of music videos, but might be my personal favorite. Song and visuals feel like they belong together.
